| | | | | | | Rosemary served in the U.S. Navy (WAVES) as a Y3C-yeoman third class. She was the shortest WAVE in the Navy till 2001 at 4'11". Rosemary enlisted with her twin sister but was told she was too short at 4'10 3/4". After seeing Dr Sours , and "stretching" her neck for a week she just made it at 4' 10" height limit. The Chicago Tribune had on their front page "Rosemary wins in the stretch". Boot camp was in New York and college in Ceder Rapids, Ia. In 1944, she was in San Francisco, Ca doing cable sensership.
