Invite your friends and family over for a party. Ask each party invite to make a minimum contribution of $5 to the IWMCM. If your party is more elaborate, you may wish to request a larger donation. Each attendee will receive a "Plant and Grow" wildflower seed packet. It is our hope that they will plant and grow these wildflowers in honored memory of the women who have served our country.

Absolutely. One of the objectives of the IWMCM is to make visible the service of the thousands of Illinois women who have served. We encourage you to recognize them and to publicize that recognition locally. A media idea sheet can be found at our website at www.iwmcm.org.

We have a speaker's bureau, but it is limited number. We will work with you to honor your request as best we can

All monies raised will go to fulfill the mission of this organization which is to make visible the service of women from Illinois, both military and civilian, who served with and in support of the armed services.

It is optional. We have a party packet that you may order from us that include 12 invitations, 12 seed packets, party ideas, and sample press releases. We are asking for a donation of $25 that covers the actual cost for the party packet and mailing.

Some of the most avid supporters of the women veterans are the men with whom they served. The objective of IWMCM is not to ignore men or male veterans but to make visible the less recognized service of the women.

We tell them ... Please bring your checkbook to this special party. The food and refreshments are on (name of host/hostess) but the hope for a garden that honors the women who served depends on your generosity. Please come to the party ready to give a gift. Also fell your guests that checks are preferred and that they will receive a receipt showing the contribution is tax deductible.
